With a voice that’s equal parts vulnerable and commanding, her music pulls from early country and folk traditions to make sense of grief, joy, resistance and the stories we carry. Charlotte's debut album, Songs from the Barrier Line (2023), made an immediate impact, debuting at #4 on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart and #3 on the AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association) Album Chart. The album was featured on Bandcamp’s Best Country Music list for March 2023 and earned nominations for Contemporary Folk Album of the Year at the Australian Folk Music Awards and Best Country Work at the Music Victoria Awards. Renowned for her captivating live performances, Charlotte has shared stages with Jimbo Mathus (USA), The Burning Hell (CAN) and C.W. Stoneking. She has also played acclaimed festivals across the country including Out on the Weekend, Woodford Folk Festival, Nannup Music Festival, The Town Folk Festival, Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, Yackdandandah Folk festival, NewFarm NewCountry Festival and Nundle Rocks. She showcased at BIGSOUND in Brisbane in 2024 and participated in the 2025 Seed Fund Workshop for self-managed artists. Charlotte is currently working on her sophomore album, Grief Knows No Borders, slated for release in February 2027 via Cheatin’ Hearts Records.
